1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO

The i3+ EVO and its sibling the i3 EVO are both identical robots, but they differ in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. The i3+ is a good option for those who want a fully automated, hands-off cleaning experience but are willing to manually empty the robot's dustbin once it gets full.

iRobot recommends clearing areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, which includes clearing out any clutter or toys it may encounter. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or its battery is depleted, it returns to its docking station and automatically emptying its debris into the station's dust bin, and then continues cleaning the area where it started. The biggest benefit over the eufy, is its self-emptying dustbin which removes a major source of maintenance and lowers recurring costs.

We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning session and to move around the room and sweep the area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward using the iRobot Home app. When connected, we were able to give the i7+ voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

In a world of vacuums with cords that are like minivans and buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like an automobile. It is powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in a majority of homes, but it is also compact enough to fit on a coffee table or bookcase.
