The Pre-licensing class can be taken either in a classroom or via distance learning/virtual class. If you choose the classroom version, you will receive an MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. Whatever version you decide to study, all courses use the same curriculum. Once you successfully complete your course, the provider will report your achievement to the DMV immediately and you will not have to present the certificate at the time of taking your driver's exam.
