Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below shows time periods that are reserved not confirmed exams. Please check with your instructor whether or not your course will be taking its final exam within this period.

Be sure to read all the Goethe exam terms and guidelines on each exam's webpage prior to you register. Register for the appropriate level of the exam.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists the locations where DEP conducts operator qualification exams. Exam pages for each exam are available for additional guidelines, conditions and guidelines and exam information. If you need special accommodations due to chronic illness, hearing or visual impairment, or any other disability, contact the exam provider and provide the documentation when registering.

Faculty may find their exam times by using the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. The Registrar's Office also has a list of exam times for those courses that are required to be tested under NYSED regulations. Final exams for classes in the evening are scheduled during the regular class meeting times of the final exams.

Please be aware that the Projected University Examination Schedule is provided for a tentative guide and that the dates for the final exam are subject to change.

Registration

The exam schedule is available online, and students are advised to look it up. It is important to note that the schedule for exams can change at any time. For this reason, students should consult with their instructors to confirm that they have the correct date and time for their test. Students should also make sure to print the official list and bring it to their exam.

In addition to the exam schedule, students must familiarize themselves with the exam guidelines and conditions and terms. They are available on the individual exam page. Students acknowledge they have read and accepted the terms and conditions of registration.

Exam sites make every effort to accommodate participants who have special requirements. The nature and severity of these needs should be noted on the registration and confirmed by a physician's attestation. The exam locations must also adhere to confidentiality.

If a student is scheduled to take three tests on the same day, they should contact their instructor or department in order to schedule a make-up test. It is possible to have three exams on the same day. However, this can lead to a high level of stress and affect the quality of the exam. Additionally, the instructor may not be able to give a makeup exam on a different day.

Before taking the test, students must prepare by studying the course material and practice their German skills. The exam is a paper test that measures your ability to read, speak, and write German. The exam results are reported on a scale of A1 to C2. Students who pass the test are awarded the Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate demonstrates the achievement of language level paragrafy kategorii a1. This level corresponds to the initial stage of the six-level scale of competence that is set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free. Students must bring an ID that is valid for government purposes to the exam. If they dokumenty do prawa jazdy a1 not present an acceptable photo ID will be disqualified from the examination.

Fees

You must pay a fee for the examination for the opportunity to receive the Goethe-Zertifikat (start German 1) after you have completed your Elan Academy studies. This is in addition to the course fees.
